Gemstone Holder:
The gem holder is spring loaded and safely holds your stone while you are showing it off to everyone in the room. It eliminates those carpet combing incidents where you are frantically trying to find the stone that someone dropped. The 4-Prong gemstone holder is available in a long or short version.

Refractol:
When you drop a rough stone into the jar of Refractol, even one with a frosted surface, it seems to disappear.  The only things you see are the color of the stone and those nasty flaws.  This helps you locate problems in your rough before you start cutting.  Refractol's refractive index (RI) is 1.567, so it helps locate flaws in many stones such as beryl (RI 1.57-1.6), topaz (RI 1.60-1.638), tourmaline (RI 1.616-1.652), peridot (RI 1.654-1.69), quartz (RI 1.544-1.553), etc.

Tweezers are handy tools for gem handling by faceters, gemologists and jewelers.  Fine point tweezers are helpful when sorting through a parcel of cut or rough stones.  Locking tweezers are useful when closely inspecting individual stones and for dopping. I use insulated tweezers for holding faceting rough during the dopping process.  Their cross locking design makes it easy to hold stones firmly in place. Insulated tweezers also offer more control when dopping small stones and keeps hands at a safe distance from the flame. Pearl and bead tweezers have a round hollow area at the business end of the tweezers. This helps in picking up and holding round objects such as pearls and beads without damaging them.

Gem Containers:
Gem Containers are a handy way to display your stones and safely transport them.  Customers really appreciate getting Gem Containers as a "freebie" when they buy your cut stones. Gem Containers are 3/4" deep and come in two diameter sizes: 1-1/8" and 1-3/8". Gem containers come with white or black foam inserts.

Magnetic Top Display Cases (Case Only):
Our Magnetic Top Display Cases are finished with black leatherette and have magnetic lids that easily snap open from one side.  These cases are excellent for safely transporting your stones and conveniently displaying them at shows. Gem Display Cases do not include Gem Containers, but are sized to hold the 25 or 16 size plastic gem containers featured above.  These display cases are great gifts for the faceter in your life (including yourself).

Glass Top gem containers come with either black or white case and a reversible insert that is white on one side and black on the other. Sold in packs of twelve units. Glass Top containers measure approximately 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" x 3/4" deep. Stone papers are what many pros use to carry their stones.  Stone papers are pre-folded, so all you have to do is slip your stone in between the sheets and tuck it in.  White stone papers have a double set of white glassine liners, and black stone papers have a white outside paper with black inside liner.

 Ziplock bags are handy for organizing rough and for holding parcels of cut stones. 
Our bags have a white write-on strip, so the contents of the bag can be labeled with a ball point pen. Thickness is 2 mils.

Gem Scoop:
There is nothing as frustrating as trying to get a parcel of stones back in a bag.  Our gemstone scoop eliminates this frustration, saves time and reduces the number of trips to the floor in pursuit of spilled stones.

NEW! The Carbon Fiber Digital calipers have a capacity up to 150mm (6 inches) and read down to a 1/10th of a mm. Carbon fiber jaws are gentle to those sharp corners on your stones. Reads inside and outside diameter in both inches and millimeters.

The Standard Stainless Steel calipers have an electronic digital readout and measure in both inches and millimeters.  They are accurate down to .01 mm!  The capacity on our Stainless Steel calipers are 100mm or 4 inches.  Reads both inside and outside diameter.

Our Digital Stone Thickness Gauge is spring-loaded to keep the jaws tight against the object being measures. They have a capacity of 25.9mm (1.2 inches) and read down to .01mm (.0005 inches)! It's the perfect tool for critically measuring the size of your stones for competition requirements and demanding setting applications. Reads both inside and outside dimensions in both millimeters and inches.
